Join us for the reading of a brand new picture book and a fun activity! Sept. 3 at Brookville Library at 5 p.m.

We’re mixing up literature and cooking in one tasty evening! Read a book about a food, learn and practice one cooking skill needed to make that food, and then taste the food! This month, we will be reading Lady Pancake & Sir French Toast by Josh Funk. Sept. 8 at Laurel Library at 5 p.m. 

Brookville and Laurel Libraries will open at 2 p.m. on Sept. 9 due to staff training. Thank you for understanding.

The Franklin County Public Library District board will meet at Laurel Library on Sept. 15. The budget hearing is at 5:45 p.m., followed by the board meeting at 6 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.

Join us in giving old, damaged books a new purpose! Patrons will transform discarded books into a useful accordion file for storing notes, papers, cards, and other small items. Sept. 21 at Brookville Library at 4:30 p.m. Give us a call to sign up.
