Writer’s Corner with Don Kaufman

Author Don Kaufman will be hosting a writer’s corner at the libraries in November.

A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Donald Kaufman retired from teaching in 2016 after having spent 50 years as an educator at all levels—from preK and grade school through college and graduate school.

Presently, Don is an author and the Managing Partner of Berg Kaufman Publishing; he is also the Executive Director of The Oxford Society, a nonprofit organization he and his wife, Patricia, established in 2003.

Kaufman will be regaling patrons with tales of his books The Monkey Brothers: Adventures in Thailand and The Wisdom of John Prine came to be. Kaufman will also read some passages from each book, take questions and comments, and talk about his writing process and how it may help future authors in their writing endeavors.

Kaufman will be at Brookville Library on Nov. 10 at 5 p.m. and at Laurel Library on Nov. 14 at 6 p.m.
