New Weekly Programs at Laurel Library!

Laurel Library is adding two new programs to its weekly rotation starting in February!

Teens! Are you interested in sewing, but not sure where to start? Check out our Basic Sewing for Teens program beginning February 6. Learn the basics of sewing in this hands-on program. Participants will practice simple stitches and have access to sewing machines. No prior sewing experience required. This is a weekly program that takes place every Friday at Laurel Library at 4:30 p.m.

Adults! Are you looking for a way to get in some low stress low stakes exercise without the gym? Get moving with a fun, beginner-friendly Zumba session led by the Zumba game on the Nintendo Switch! Follow along on screen as you dance to energetic music and enjoy a lighthearted workout—no experience required. Every Tuesday at Laurel Library, starting Feb. 10. Classes initially will be at 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. to determine the best time.

Our other weekly occurring programs at Laurel Library include Little Readers Storytime, Tuesdays at 10 a.m., Game Day, Wednesdays at 4 p.m., and Teen Cooking, Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. To stay up to date on all library events, sign up for our weekly newsletter on our subscribe page!
