Brookville Library

In 1910, Andrew Carnegie gifted $10,000 to build a library for the town of Brookville. What now exists as the Brookville Public Library, was dedicated on September 18, 1912. Since then, the library expanded in 2018 to include an Annex building directly behind the Carnegie. The Carnegie houses the Adult Department and our Local History and Genealogy Department. The Annex includes our Children’s and Teen Department and multiple meeting and study rooms.
