A fall favorite tradition is returning to Franklin County as talented artists of all skill levels will be spread out over the county capturing the beauty of fall on canvas.
The Plein Air Paint Out, sponsored by the Franklin County Public Library District, will take place on Oct. 20-22.
Artists can register by calling the library at 765-647-4031, or stop by Brookville Library on Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. to register in- person. On Friday evening, there will be a cloud painting demonstration from Lyle Denney at 7 p.m.
On Saturday at 7 p.m., artists are invited to a dinner courtesy of the FCPLD Art Committee. Guests are welcome to attend for a $12 charge.
On Sunday at noon, artists can grab a complimentary lunch courtesy of the Richmond Art Museum. Guests can also attend for $5. The weekend culminates in an art show and sale from 1-3 p.m.
All of these events will take place at Brookville Library.
This is always a weekend of beautiful artwork and camaraderie. FCPLD is looking forward to hosting new and returning artists.
