Heritage Quest:  Heritage Quest consists of six core data sets for your research needs.  (This is a paid subscription site and can only be accessed from inside the libraries.)

NewsBank:  provides access to tens of millions of articles and video clips from local, state, regional, national and international news sources.  (This is a paid subscription site and can be accessed away from the library with a Franklin County Library District library card.)

Chronicling America:  Search for free America’s historic newspaper pages from 1836-1922 or use the U.S. Newspaper Directory to find information about American newspapers published between 1690-present. Chronicling America is sponsored jointly by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Library of Congress.

Find A Grave:  Find A Grave is a free website that not only offers information and burial locations for folks in Franklin County, but all over the world.

Family Search:  Family Search sponsored by the Latter Day Saints offers genealogy information for all over the world. Thousands of images of Indiana marriage records are available for free.

Franklin County GenWeb:  The Franklin County GenWeb site offers information pertaining to genealogy and local history of the area.

Indiana Genealogical Society:  The Indiana Genealogical Society offers special databases and membership opportunities. Genealogical information on this website focuses on the state of Indiana.
