The Purpose of the Franklin County Public Library District is to collect, maintain, and disseminate information, with special emphasis on stimulating the community’s interests and appreciation for reading and learning. The Franklin County Public Library District strives to provide a foundation for building a literate county.

One way we strive to attain this purpose is to offer programming for the adult community. We work to bring a wide range of information through various speakers. Book Discussion Groups, Healthy Living Series and Hooked on History are just examples of regular monthly programs we offer. We also bring various authors to discuss their works.

We hope you enjoy our adult programs. If you have any suggestions for other programs, please let us know.
